Nick Lygnos who runs Troy’s Stay and Play, remembers how he agonized over where he would board his beloved dog Troy when he went on vacation. Well, Nick had a vision to one day open up a dog boarding kennel that would provide comfort, security, and all the “extras” that pets deserve. After working for several years at other boarding facilities, attending week-long seminars, conducting independent research, and after much thought, Nick decided to follow his vision, and open a unique dog and cat boarding facility that would provide the utmost care for customers pets. Because of Troy’s sensitive health condition Nick believed that the most important things in a boarding kennel are air filtration systems, all natural foods, purified water, comfortable thick bedding and daily exercise. With all this in mind Troy’s Stay and Play opened its doors in November 2004.
